Los Angeles County Supervisor Fourth District Don Knabe

Los Angeles County Supervisor Knabe represents the Fourth District, which is a uniquely diverse area that is home to over two million residents and includes two of the nation’s largest economic hubs; the Ports of Los Angeles and Long Beach, and Los Angeles International Airport. The Fourth District is also geographically diverse, stretching from Marina del Rey to the Palos Verdes Peninsula to Long Beach all the way east to Diamond Bar and dozens of cities in between. The Fourth District also includes Catalina Island and San Clemente Island.

Los Angeles County Supervisor First District Gloria Molina

On February 19, 1991, Gloria Molina became the first Latina ever elected to the Los Angeles County Board of Supervisors. To many observers at home and across America, Molina’s accomplishment represented both the growing formidability of the Latino electorate and the determination of voters of all backgrounds to elect a leader to office who understood their needs.

Molina’s tenure as county supervisor has produced dramatic results both
because she has insisted county services be streamlined for maximum
effectiveness and because she has brought to fruition major capital endeavors that improve Los Angeles County residents’ quality-of-life—particularly Molina’s First District constituents.
